For everyone who wishes to spend an active outdoors vacation, the Hohe Tauern National Park, and especially the region around Mittersill, offers a rich variety of guided hikes reflecting all levels of difficulty. You will find excursions which are ideal for families, alongside an array of high-alpine tours. A variety of programs are regularly offered.
A well-trained team of National Park Rangers will acquaint you with the region´s natural treasures and put their expertise at your disposal.

General remarks:
The minimum number of participants is four persons for all
programmes. Participation fees for excursions include a guided
tour by a national park ranger and the use of snow shoes. The
hike in Kolm Saigurn further includes transport costs (street is
closed for public transport).
Note: For snow shoe hikes you need good and warm shoes, warm clothes (including hat and gloves), sunglasses and a snack. The National Park Administration reserves the right to cancel excursions for safety reasons, if weather conditions are bad or there is a danger of avalanches.

Concessions:
Snow shoe hikes with the national park rangers are free of
charge for tourists with a guest card of the Hohe Tauern vacation
region (excluding special dates and National Park workshops).
Costs for taxi transports and guided tours of the National Park
Worlds must be paid separately.
