Enjoy the “Bauernherbst” (harvest festival) with traditional
customs in Mittersill-Hollersbach-Stuhlfelden!
At the “Bauernherbst” festival (October 4, 2009) you can watch
traditionally decorated cattle, goats, and sheep being driven
down from the alpine pastures and through the village. At the
farmers’ market you get the opportunity to buy farm products.
In the new National Park Centre and in the Felberturm museum
you can discover the Hohe Tauern National Park and watch
alpine animals, minerals, and the fauna from close to. Round
off your stay by taking the gondola to the Kitzbühel Alps
and enjoy the view of the 3,000-m peaks of the Hohe Tauern
National Park.
