Stuhlfelden - Archery, Sports, Traditions

Located at one of the highest grass mountains, Gaisstein 2.363m, this oldest village of the Upper-Pinzgau is characterized by its traditions and hospitality. With its old houses and farm buildings, the Emperor Franz monument and Lichtenau Castle, Stuhlfelden is one of the Pinzgau’s jewels.

Beyond that Stuhlfelden is well-known for a very special institution: Europe’s first archery village.
