Training camp Schalke 04

From 29th July to 6th August 2018 the team around German football club Schalke 04 stays at Mittersill to prepare for the upcoming match season.

Once again, the “Königsblauen” hold their summer training camp at the “Ferienregion Nationalpark Hohe Tauern”, which is touristic partner of FC Schalke 04.

Holiday region Nationalpark Hohe Tauern - Partner of FC Schalke 04

Since 2016 the Ferienregion Nationalpark Hohe Tauern is partner of FC Schalke 04. The “Königsblauen” concluded a tourism partner agreement with Ferienregion Nationalpark Hohe Tauern for three years. Besides the sponsoring agreement the annual professionals summer trainings camp held in the region is included. Once again FC Schalke 04 will hold its pre-match season training camp in Austria. From Sunday, 29th July 2018 until Monday, 6th August 2018 the “Königsblauen” travel to Mittersill again. The team of new chef trainer Dominico Tedeso will stay as previously at Hotel Schloss Mittersill and train on the sports ground of SC Mittersill.

The Austrian Ferienregion Nationalpark Hohe Tauern in the south of Salzburger Land hosts the biggest nature protection area in Middle Europe with approx. 2.000 km². With exactly 266 peaks higher than 3.000 metres, countless glaciers, waterfalls and mountain lakes as well as one of Europs most beautiful panoramic roads, the Großglockner Hochalpenstraße, the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern offer an unforgettable nature experience year-round.

For assistance and support for all fans travelling with the team, the department “Fanbelange” is on site all the time and present at all training units. Besides the Welcome-Evening and the traditional “Blau-Weiße Nacht” a varied program with different excursions and activities in Mittersill and surroundings is organized.
