Located at one of the highest grass mountains, Gaisstein 2.363m, the oldest village of the Upper-Pinzgau is characterized by its traditions and hospitality. With its old houses and farm buildings, the Emperor Franz monument and Lichtenau Castle, Stuhlfelden is one of Pinzgau’s jewels.
Beyond that Stuhlfelden is well-known for a very special institution: Europe’s first archery village.
